Is Zoya Cruelty Free?

Finding a nail polish that is both cruelty free and vegan is not an easy feat – but we did it! Zoya has officially stated that their nail polishes have never and will be tested on animals – HOORAY!! They are toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and DBP (dibutyl phthalate) free.

Here is the email exchange from Suzi and Zoya.

Our official statement is not currently on our website. Here it is for you:

Zoya Nail Polish and Nail Care Treatments are free of any animal derived and/or bi-products.
Zoya Nail Polish and Nail Care Treatments are not tested, nor have ever been tested on animals.
To the best of our knowledge no other party tests our products on animals.
When it comes to ingredients, Zoya Nail Polish and Nail Care products use raw materials and ingredient blends that ,to the best of our knowledge, are not being tested on animals. Zoya Nail Polish and Nail Care Treatments are not certified as “Cruelty Free” by a third party.
